Anyone familiar with ausini? Just sharing what i got this afternoon...






been happy with the 2 sets, you get high quality bricks with too many accessories and extra bloks included. The mini-figures faces details and paints are much better than their other KO bricks counterparts.

New Weekend Haul

Bought these few Enlighten and kazi bricks from a sari-sari store nearby for 25 php each.



Kazi mini-military vehicles Fied Army Series - I'm not really familiar with these military vehicles, Bought them just for the green bricks and some parts, i'm planning to do something with them. Just vehicles.



Kazi Space Series - (Looks more like the moon buggy) Comes with a mini-human figure a mini-radio and a whatever-you-call-it-space-handgun-like-thingy. I just love how the helmet visor is painted chrome.



Kazi Racing Car - only tried getting this one, not really into racing cars... but this one is cute, also comes with a mini-figure.

Enlighten Combat Series - if it's green... it's a must... i've been collecting military green bricks since last week for a custom vehicle project, i also found out that the mini-gun has a firing action which launches a mini-rod? Lol. Also comes with a flesh colored skin-toned military figure.





and this one, bought it for the sandbags and the grass. also comes with a flesh-toned mini-figure with trumpet and Sword. It's the cheapest i can get these sandbags, so why not

Marvel Mega Bloks

Here are some of the line-up of my Marvel Bloks Collection



I'm fascinated with their size and their compatibility with the other bricks, but most of all the articulated joints... they really stand out from their Brick figures counterpart.

I'm currently missing figures released from sets such as Rhino, Doc Ock, Movie's Green goblin 2, Movie Spiderman, Movie battle Damaged Spidey, and Movie Venom, Iron Man MK II and MK III and Battle Damaged Ironman(MKIV) and Movies Hulk and Abomination.

From the Blind Packs I'm still missing the UK released Armored Spidey and Battle Damaged Ironman(MK VI)

From all the sets and mini-figures this is my most favorite:

My Custom Mega Bloks Justice League

I just wanna share this with you guys, my custom Justice League Mega Bloks Project. Made by Random parts from the Marvel Megabloks Line.

My fascination with the Justice League makes me collect everything JL... i was thinking of selling my extras on a toy collecting forum.. but it was not pushing through because people was into collecting 3.75 and larger figures. So i decided to make use of some extra figures from my marvel bloks, with just a little sculpting and repainting to have my favorite super team on MB scale.

The Team

Most of them are made by random MB Mini-figures, just a little swapping heads and parts


SUPERMAN

Superman's head was made by a Mister Fantastic head sculpted with the "S" hair and a spiderman body.



BATMAN

Batman's Head, torso, shoulder and legs is made up of Series 3 Silver Surfer while the the arms and feet are from a Series 1 Black Spiderman. His Utility belt and waist is from a Series 2 Captain America.



GREEN LANTERN

Green lantern's head is also a Mister Fantastic and some minor sculpting on the hair and a Mister Fantastic torso and waist. Shoulders and Legs is from Black Spiderman, while feet and arms are from Series 3 Silver Surfer.



THE FLASH

The Flash Head is made up of Series 2 Captain America, sanding the straps on his chin and sculpted the ear piece. Torso is also from a black Spiderman waist, arms, legs and feet are mister fantastic while Shoulders and hands are from Series 3 magneto.



THE MARTIAN MANHUNTER

Martian Manhuter's head is from an iceman head and also the torso. limbs are from Series 1 Venom.



AQUAMAN

Aquaman's head is made from a sandman head, and a mister fantastic body.



Capes are from thin cloth i found at home.

Some Cheap Knockoffs aint that bad :D

Been to the mall in makati yesterday, while looking for the Mega Bloks Marvel Egg Wolverine for my friend phoenix from spartanbloks.com and Silver Surfer from Series 3 for me ... while on the way to the brick section i saw lots of knockoff bricks on sale. Some were brands i haven't heard of but it seems some have decent bricks and plastic. Some are priced at 200 - 350 PHP which is equivalent to almost 9USD and less.





There are lots more from Castles and City Sets, was about to take pictures of some when a female sales rep approached and ask me not to take pictures, oh well...

On my way home my wife asked me to dropped by a local grocery store in laguna
there i found a kiosk in the middle area who are also selling small packs of bricks for less than 3 - 4USD
From mini sets of military figures, construction sets and F1 race cars



there are also a few Ninjago KOs called Ninjaman 3 - 5USD






bought a few and here's what i got

A pirate island set






and a mini-hummer




Both set's brick quality are much better than the earlier KO's that i bought for my daughter, Their Bricks are locking tightly to each other, the only thing i found out is that The pirates(Enlighten) set is much softer than the Hummer bricks.

mini hummer also comes with a mini-machine gun which also fit's MB minifigs hands:D



I'm not really familiar with the other sets and their bricks but both are a great addition for brick collectors.



in the end... there's no Mega bloks marvel eggs on site or the silver surfer... but i snag a few marvels from the blind bags.

Brick Hunting
